Graham Mullin
I have a degree in Mathematics from Bristol University and a PGCE from Exeter University. I have experience of teaching and tutoring a range of abilities at secondary school level. I am a patient tutor; I focus on uncovering misconceptions and exploring those with students to ensure the foundations of learning are solid.
The majority of my working life has been spent in the business world, I was able to use my mathematical knowledge to understand and model real life situations. I was responsible for managing small teams and junior analysts which involved building a good rapport with my team members. I have brought these skills to my teaching and tutoring; I regularly receive strong feedback from students and parents. I am making a difference to grades.
I am a keen cyclist and runner; I have taken part in Sportive cycling events and several half marathons. I am studying horticulture for one day a week; I enjoy looking after my own garden and plan on offering my services to others when I have completed my study.
